Arrilla Connect is our virtual cultural competency training course that combines Arrilla Digital with our extensive experience in providing face-to-face facilitation services. It allows teams to take a deeper dive beyond a single online experience, by providing teams with an opportunity to work together and individually as they develop their cultural competency.
This is the ideal solution for organisations where staff may be geographically dispersed and for workplaces that find it difficult to coordinate calendars to set aside dedicated time to bring staff together.
It is delivered flexibly via four online modules with the first module completed individually while the remaining three modules are completed by group discussions using online collaboration tools alongside an experienced Indigenous facilitator.
“When my executive team and I explored how we could be better leaders and improve our Indigenous cultural competency, we approached Arrilla. Originally, the Arrilla training was scheduled to be face-to-face; however, COVID-19 changed that. Their virtual offering, Arrilla Connect, did not diminish or dilute the interactions, the goals, nor the objective of improving our cultural competency. In fact, the format assisted in deeper reflection, consideration and awareness, and as such resulted in more ‘ahh huh’ moments and greater personal impact than any of us had thought possible.”
